Confessions of Me [Dream Street]

Confessions of Me: Dream Street
Becoming Of: Dream Street was put together by producers Louis Baldonieri and Brian Lukow. They were originally named Boy Wonder... Yikes, Thank goodness that name was a fail. The group was made up of boys from the New York Broadway and Acting scene. They were all practically veterans of the entertainment world. Matt Ballinger was not part of the original group, which consisted of Gregory Raposo, Jesse McCartney, Frankie Galasso, Chris Trousdale and Davis Knight. Davis quit and was replaced by Matt. Their self-titled album was released in 2001, and hit gold. The group disbanded in 2002 due to a legal battle between the parents and managers of the group. It is said that they are not allowed to perform together again, but I'm not sure if that is a true statement. I would love to have someone clarify it for me.

Members: Chris Trousdale, Jesse McCartney, Greg Raposo, Frankie Galasso, Matt Ballinger

Features: Dream Street Live, The Biggest Fan

Jesse: The young one of the group. I always saw him as sweet little innocent Jesse. He went solo after the group split up. His new album, Have It All, will be released in early 2011. He co-wrote Leona Lewis's "Bleeding Love." He has totally grown from cute little Jesse to sexy swagged out Jesse! The new single "Shake" is bomb and so hott. He went all Leo on us y'all! So proud of him and looking forward to seeing what else he has to bring. Love ya Jess!

Greg: For some reason, I always saw him as the "Mafia" man of the group haha! Don't really know much about what's going on with Greg. He went solo as well and from what I've heard he was very successful with selling out concerts. He had his first headlining tour with radio disney in 2003 with Stevie Brock, and J-Mac was opening for him. He's had several variations of bands throughout the years, and he's even done some acting. Other than that I honestly don't know too much, but I'd love to hear and see more of him and I hope all is well Greg. Muahs!

Matt: Ahh Matty. The adorable one :). Matt had a voice like no other. He could serenade and make the little ladies melt. He went back to high school to be a noraml teenager. I mean, he did come OUT of retirement to be in the group, so it's only natural for him to go back. During college he joined a group called "The Juice", which released an album on iTunes and disbanded in 2008. He later joined another group titled Open Till Midnight. He starred in a short film. Jesse says he still keeps in touch with Matt and also says he is working for a lawfirm. Kisses Matt!

Frankie: The sweetie pie of the group. Now I first came across Frank in Jungle2Jungle when it first came out in '97. I always saw him as caring and passionate. And his voice is still, to this day, smooth and sexy lol. I know in 2003 he starred in a film title "A Tale of Two Pizzas." It is said that he's working on an album that has yet to have a release date. We all love and adore Frankie.

Chris: My absolute fav. I'm talking about, like, when I was 9, I thought I was in love haha! Just kidding! :D Chris was the sexy, pretty boy with the nice hair, sexy voice, and smooth moves. He was my favorite voice out of the 5 boys and I thought he was and STILL is the sexiest man alive... Mmm mmm mmm. So after the split, Chris went solo. He was busy promoting the movie, "The Biggest Fan" and his songs for the soundtrack. He recorded "I'm Gonna Make You Love Me" with female pop group Play and it became a hit on Radio Disney. In 2008, Chris starred in two films, Seducing Spirits and Sacred Journey, both of which I'd like to see in full, but I have seen clips of Seducing Spirits. He also starred in Disney Channel's Shake It up on episode "Age It Up" (which is the whole reason I actually got back into DS). He'll be teaching classes at a dance studio in Paris, Michigan. Chris has also been working really hard on his album due in 2011.

I was one of those girls who LOVED to love boybands. When you're as young as I was and you don't know a thing about the real world, you fantasize about being in love and being with someone who you think is absolutely perfect. So that's, in my opinion, why there are so many fangirls who obsess over boybands. With BSB, NSYNC, LFO, O-Town, 5ive and Dream Street, I was a perfect example of a fangirl. I loved them all. My walls were covered in posters. Now this segment is about Dream Street and as you can see they were my favorite.

I like to think that they impacted my life in a great way. Good music, good dancing, good looks and a hell of good time while entering my teenage years. I will always have nothing but love for the boys of DS. So with that note, I love ya guys! Keep yourselves headstrong and positive, and always know you have your true fans behind you 100%. I hope you achieve all your dreams and much more.

Dream Street

Ok, so I know I've been the absolute WORST at this promising a show thing...

But I am going to start recording TOMORROW!
This next episode unfortunately won't be about Miley as I said, but it will be about Dream Street.
Remember the cute boyband from the early 2000's?

"It Happens Everytime", "I Say Yeah", and "They Don't Understand"?
Ring a bell? Well they are AMAZING! :)

The blog for the video will be up a few days before I post the video on my youtube channel!

Until then, enjoy this little reminder of the best boybamd EVER! :::

UPDATE!

I know it's been some time, but I will be recording this week to update about my life and what's been going on with everything.

Starting next week I will be recording a new episode about none other than Miley Cyrus. You'll get an explanation in the blog that goes with the video, but basically it's this: The girl is doing her thing, so PLEASE leave her be before y'all drive her crazy like y'all did so many others! And stop hatin'!

Confessions of Me[Aryssa Grace]

I'm the youngest of three girls, and with my oldest sister being married for seven years and getting older and my middle sister not wanting to have kids, I never thought I would have any nieces or nephews. So, when the news came that my oldest sister was pregnant, I was in shock. She hadn't wanted children due to her demanding job.

As the months passed and Amber's belly got bigger, I couldn't wait for the arrival of my new baby niece or nephew! Everyone thought it was going to be a boy, while I alone just new it was going to be a baby girl. And was I right? I do believe so! We went in for an ultrasound when Amber was around six months and when we saw that the baby had what the doctor called a "powder puff", the only response I could come to was tears rolling down my face.

On September 9th, 2008, Aryssa Grace Brannan was born. A joy she was. Of course she had some lungs on her, but I didn't mind. I had always been the oddball of my family. I used to think that I was adopted because I didn't look a thing like anyone. Everyone had green eyes and brown hair, while I had blue eyes and blonde hair. With no surprise, to this day EVERYONE believes that Aryssa is my daughter because she has blue eyes and blonde hair (Her mother and father have green eyes and brown hair too). I just say yes she is, because if that's what others honestly think of me, then they deserve a lie. Haha.

Now, nearly two years later, she has been a great part of my life. I never thought such a little person could hold so much love for the world in their tiny body. She has been such a great joy. And she loves talking to people, sharing with others, and hugging. Her favorite singer? None other than Justin Bieber! And she could go for days listening to him. She so sweet and loves to eat haha!

I love this little girl so much, and I can't wait until she's older so that I can spoil the hell out of her! YES! I'm one of those Aunts!

Confessions of Me [JD Williams]

JD Williams is an actor best known for his role as Preston "Bodie" Broadus on HBO's The Wire and Kenny Wangler on HBO's Oz. He has appeared in many music videos, such as, Mariah Carey's "Through The Rain", Tupac's "Ghetto Gospel", Lumidee's "Never Leave You", and Cam'Ron's "Lord You Know." He has also credited such films as "Snipes", "4 Life", "Pooty Tang" and several cameos in these well-known TV shows: a main character in The Kill Point, The Sopranos, Sex and the City, and Homicide: Life On The Street.

Almost every appearance we see of JD is none other than his typecasting of a drug dealer/gangster. Other than these roles which have made us fall for this amazing actor, he has also appeared in print ads for Live by Karl Kani and Def Jam University clothing lines.

It's nearly impossible to find any other information than what is listed above. I figure, maybe, if we push it far enough, we can get someone out there to give us a little more and maybe even see more of him in upcoming projects.

We all may have first seen him as the young gangster who entered Oz's Em City for shooting a peer, but we first fell for him when we saw him as Bodie, a young drug dealer in The Terraces in Baltimore, MD. Many people, whom I have asked, say that his smooth brown eyes and loyalty to his crew are what made them weak in the knees. I know when I saw Bodie get shot by O-Dog, I was not only devastated to see my favorite character die, but also pissed at this kid who shot him. In my eyes, the show was never the same without him, but still quite decent.

True, The Wire is what brought JD to fame, and many will always see him as Bodie, but we know his talent and hope for the day where we can see him in an even bigger light. Maybe a movie with Terrance Howard, Jennifer Lopez, Columbus Short, and even a reunion with "The Wire" cast-mate Idris Elba.

JD has been my favorite actor ever since I first saw him in Oz in the year of 1997. Thirteen years have passed since then, and there has been no one who can compare. It could be because I was 6 when I first saw him, and he was my first crush[come on, I was 6 people], or maybe it's because I know he has wonderful talent and a heart that pushes him to be devoted to his roles. After all, it's said that he walked around Baltimore all night before the first day of shooting for The Wire so that he could get a feel for it.

I wanted to conduct an interview with JD for my show on YouTube, but like I said it's damn near impossible to find any new information on him, much less a way of contacting him or his publicist. So, with hope, maybe he'll see the video I do post, and he'll jump on that.

This Episode of my show will be edited and posted by 10 PM tomorrow night. I hope you tune in to watch.

To JD- Your fans love you and want to not only see more of you, but know more. We're always here for support. I really would like to interview you for my show on YouTube- "Confessions of Me". We hope to hear about a new project you're working on soon. Take care and have peace.

Confessions of Me [Intro]

My blog will serve as my outlet and my getaway.

Some days will just be storytelling of what goes on in my day to day life, and others will be an outline of my YouTube show of the same name as this blog.

I play fair, and I tell my own opinion. If you have something to say, feel free to say it.

My words are my own, there is no disrespect here. Just opinion.

I'm not known to insult. I'm a caring person who has compassion for others, even those who honestly don't deserve it and those who I personally do not know.

Remember, YOU are not obligated to read this. If YOU see something YOU don't like, leave. I have no obligation to you or any other person who CHOOSES to read my posts. It is simply words of my own honesty.
